Light years

do u always think that the universe is only made up of space and the solar system?...guess what, u are wrong. now light years gives u a better idea of how big is the universe. (~~**The light year is the distance a ray of light will travel in a year at 300,000 kilometers per second, so one light year is about 10 trillion kilometers (63,000 times the distance between the Earth and the Sun).**~~)...and that is only 1 light year...probably that the principal part of our Galaxy (our own with a capitol "G") is in the shape of a flat disk about 100,000 light years across that contains some 200 billion stars. Our Sun is toward the edge, about 25,000 light years from the center, the whole structure at the Sun's distance rotating with a period of 200 million years. 200 million light years...omg...imagine the speed of light (3 X 10 to the power of 8) and that continues for 1 year and then 200 million years which is 200,000,000 years and the speed of light moving for 200 million years. thats probably a rough estimation of the universe. So the earth is like one of a trillion trillion trillion in the universe. how about an apple compared to the universe?...haha
